Our 2023 Food for All Partner: Every Meal

Filling the Food Gaps Students Face

With more than 300,000 children in Minnesota living with food insecurity, Every Meal is on a mission to fill the food gaps students face on weekends, extended breaks, and summer when they’re not able to access school meal programs. When kids don’t have consistent access to enough food, the risk of hunger is very real. Through multiple food gap programs, Every Meal provides children and families experiencing food insecurity with access to good food.

Helping with a Strategic Boost

With so many nonprofits doing important work to fill the hunger gap for children, we saw an opportunity to help Every Meal stand apart and clearly communicate what makes them unique. We were thrilled to take Every Meal through a strategic process that highlighted ways they can differentiate themselves from other hunger relief organizations as well as white spaces they can fill. This work also led to some productive tagline explorations.

Refreshing Creative

When you’re trying to stretch every marketing dollar like nonprofits have to do, it’s easy to continue to reuse creative in similar placements. We were happy to work with Every Meal to update and enhance crucial ads they run during the Give to the Max Day campaign.

The Gift of Time

It was such a rewarding experience to spend time working hands-on with Every Meal. During various sessions, we helped sort and organize donations into weekend meal bags that were then distributed to students. A few IN team members were able to make the deliveries to schools and experience firsthand the impact of the program.

A Commitment We Renew Every Year

Each December, we open the application process to choose our new Food for All partner, and we announce the selected organization early in the following year. You can learn more about the process and see past participants here.
