Bountiful Basket Food Shelf | Identity + Logo Redesign Design

Brand Identity and Logo Design: Updating & Modernizing a Local Food Shelf

the IN take

At IN Food, we excel at identifying what makes brands unique, and then translating those qualities into visually compelling identities that resonate with their audiences. When we put our skills to use for a local nonprofit organization helping to alleviate hunger, we feel even more energized. A stronger brand presence can directly impact their ability to secure funding, attract volunteers, and ultimately serve more families in need.

opportunity

Bountiful Basket was selected as our 2024 Food for All partner and had recently expanded their services to become more than a traditional food shelf. They were committed to walking alongside those they served on their path to self-sufficiency. However, the Bountiful Basket brand identity simply didn’t reflect the organization they had evolved into.

approach

To help modernize Bountiful Basket, we created a strong, recognizable logo that connects with their clientele, volunteers, donors, and partners. To further empower their branding, we proposed a new tagline to clearly encapsulate their holistic mission and reflect the organization’s ability to grow services beyond food insecurity.

Bountiful Basket Logo Transformation

A Simple Logo that Says a Lot

After seeing several compelling options, Bountiful Basket selected this design that draws strength from the combination of their initials with a green color palette and leaf that conveys freshness and nourishment.

Guidelines to Help Them Thrive

We wouldn’t want to simply hand over a new logo and tagline without helping Bountiful Basket use their new identity effectively. We created brand guidelines that included font recommendations, color palette direction, and examples of proper logo usage.

The compliments continue to come in — the community LOVES the logo. So do we.
