An Easter Tip from Food Network Kitchens:

Dying eggs for Easter takes a small amount of preparing. One way is to poke a hole in both ends of the egg with a pin, and blow the innards of the egg into a bowl. Strong lungs are necessary for this option. Another way is to boil the eggs first by bringing the water to a boil, shutting the heat off, cover, and sit for 12 minutes.
